My Project

3D printing has become one of the most exciting and powerful learning tools in our classroom. My students use our 3D printers to design solutions, create models, build prototypes, and bring their ideas to life. From engineering challenges to creative projects and problem-solving activities, 3D printing allows students to learn by doing — and they are always eager to get started.

Because our printers are used so frequently, we are constantly running low on essential supplies like filament.

When we run out, student projects come to a halt. Designs stay stuck on the computer instead of becoming real objects in students’ hands, and valuable learning time is lost. By restocking our 3D printing supplies, students will be able to continue designing, testing, improving, and creating without interruption.

The materials requested in this project will go directly into daily student use. Filament will be used for class projects, design challenges, and collaborative builds. Students will learn how to manage materials responsibly, troubleshoot print issues, revise their designs, and celebrate their successes when a project finally prints just right. These experiences build confidence, creativity, perseverance, and problem-solving skills that extend far beyond the classroom.
