Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
As a teacher with a limited classroom budget, I frequently pay out of pocket for supplies. I am reaching out to ask if anyone in our community would kindly donate items like pencils or paper, which can greatly help my students despite being simple.
I have seen the positive impact that having access to these supplies can have on my students' work ethic and motivation.
When they have the tools they need to succeed, they are more engaged in their learning and take pride in their work. Students need to have access to the necessary tools to learn and be creative in the classroom. I encourage my students to take care of their supplies and use them responsibly. I also teach them the importance of being grateful for what they have and to always help others in need.
Overall, having these pens, dry-erase markers, and supplies in my classroom allows my students to thrive and reach their full potential. It may seem like a small gesture, but it can make a world of difference for them. Any contribution, big or small, would be greatly appreciated.
