Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project is to restock student supplies for the classroom. We utilize many tools throughout the semester. We are starting to run low and having supplies allows each student to have the materials they need every day.

Our class utilizes highlighters to track the process of math problem solving to specific parts of an equation, track key words in word problems, and practice note taking strategies.

Students have various activities that require the use of scissors and glue to help build categorical skills for mathematics. Having pencils on hand helps keep the class running smoothly and each student on task.

Having supplies ready enables students to also explore independent research through organization, color coding, and neatness. My students enjoy having supplies available in class to pursue their academic interests further, explore the relationship between math and art, or just building their creative skills.
