My Project
In my class, students use art supplies daily to express their creativity by imagining and drawing the characters and settings of stories we have read aloud, making puppets to act out stories, creating letter crafts, practicing their letters, numbers, and high-frequency words with PlayDoh.
Crayons, colored pencils, and PlayDoh will help students strengthen their vital fine motor skills and develop their creativity.
With the different learning styles, attention spans, and abilities in kindergarten, having a variety of creative ways for students to practice skills provides opportunities for differentiation as well as much needed practice using their tiny fingers.
