My Project

In kindergarten we begin and end our day with creative activities. When my students arrive, they practice their fine motor skills and creativity by playing with a variety of building toys. We end each day with an art or writing project to enrich the language arts or math concepts we learned that day.

Creative activities enable children to experiment with thought process, actions and materials, and can provide good opportunities for problem solving, collaboration, and negotiation.

The paper, writing materials, paint and toys requested in this grant will give my students the opportunity to practice and develop key life skills.
