I have 6 awesome students in 3rd-4th grade. My class is one of three classes in our district for students with Autism. We love learning! My students are visual, hands-on learners who deserve the best academic experience possible!
We spend our days learning about academic subjects, social skills, and we all mainstream into general education classes to further our social skills and make new friends.
Our school was the 36th school internationally to receive STEM certification and we are a STEAM school.
My Project
We are about half way through the year and our classroom needs restocking! My students need vis a vis pens red and black for working on materials we do not want to easily erase right away. Cardstock and construction paper for projects. A new timer because ours is currently not working. Markers since ours are almost dried up. Contact paper to tape down visuals in the classroom and glue sticks to adhere materials. These items will help to keep our room stocked for the remainder of the year and help us to start our new year off right with much needed materials.
