This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
After many years of teaching, some of my learning tools have been damaged or gone missing. I would like to use these funds primarily to restock several high-interest book series in my classroom library. These series include everything from Dogman to Amulet to Baby-Sitters Club graphic novels. As these series are so popular, they have been the most likely to get taken home by students and mysteriously never come back.
I'd love to restock these popular book series so my future students can continue to enjoy them.
I've also used requested materials to restock a few other incentive items (Takis, candy, etc.) that we use to rewards students' hard work.
