Help me give my students peaceful rest with a sound machine so they can have energy, better attention spans, focus and social emotional wellbeing and a chair that will enable me to soothe children that need extra nurturing.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Help me give my 3K students better rest with a Hatch Sound machine and a chair to enable me to give children additional support.
My 3K students are charismatic, creative and passionate about music education.
Many of our students have only just turned three and they need extra support to rest during rest time. I often sit on the floor to rub their backs, rock them or give them additional support to fall asleep.
When our students get adequate rest they are in better spirits to continue their day with better attention spans, positive attitudes towards themselves and their peers and more focus to continue learning. Young children need rest to support their development. It helps them to have positive outlooks and be more receptive to learning.
