Help me give my students a chance to be a good partner with FFY.

My Project
The Restart program has moved to the Foundation For Youth building this year, hopefully our permanent placement from now on. We use the Cranium Room and Multipurpose Room during the morning and afternoon for classwork and have use of the club room, art room, gym, playground, pool, and Youth Camp for additional activities with the students. Overall this is a good opportunity for the students who attend.
I’ve been working on upgrading some of the items at FFY.
I replaced the blower motor in the air hockey table so it works, I replaced the handles on the foosball table so there are 8 instead of just 6, and I’ve purchased some new electronics to fix the side-by-side basketball competition game. I’m trying to take care of the things I can on my own, but there is one thing I need help with.
The hand dryers in the bathrooms are outdated. They are not energy efficient and aren’t powerful enough to get hands dry with one use. Updated dryers will be more energy efficient and effective at encouraging proper hand washing as we get closer to cold and flu season, which will benefit all the students. Plus, those bathrooms are used by the Club participants after school, so those children will benefit too.
If we use the requisition process for FFY, I’ve been told we will just get dryers like these. I wasn’t aware of the condition of the dryers until the first day of school, so I missed the deadline for the local youth/community grant programs I contacted. I would prefer to not have to wait until those open back up for submission, and would like to not have to buy these myself, so I’m submitting this project to Donor’s Choose. I appreciate any help I can get.
