Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In order to rest, relax and recharge when having difficult feelings such as anger, anxiety, frustration, disappointment the items have chosen will help support my students. A flower cushion pillow can be used for laying on, squeezing or sitting on when trying to relax. In addition to the pillow you can use the calm ball for reducing anxiety or feelings of stress. Painting or drawing helps to express oneself when too angry to speak or when trying to recharge your battery to turn your day around. Painting is therapeutic and encouraged for all students. Sometimes students need to be reinforced or just need a plushie stuffed animal to keep in their desk for comfort. They can squeeze them while taking deep breathes or counting to ten. The items purchased are for the students to use with me, in the classroom or keep at home.
