This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My Transitional Kindergarten (TK) students, ages 4 to 5, are energetic, curious learners who spend their days building the foundation for lifelong learning. These young learners experience full, engaging days filled with foundational academics, social-emotional development, and structured play.

After a morning of reading, math, play, and exploration, a designated rest time is essential to help them recharge and stay focused throughout the rest of the day.

Unfortunately, our classroom lacks nap mats to provide each child with a clean, comfortable resting area.

Your support will help create a calm and cozy rest time environment that supports their physical and emotional well-being helping them to thrive, learn and grow in our classroom!
