Help me give my students resources and classroom materials for next year. Cleaning supplies are always needed, and students deserve to have other materials to aid in learning.
As a teacher at a small charter school in Aurora, resources are often hard to come by.
We are a Title I school with more than half of our students being eligible for free or reduced lunch. Due to our designation as a Title I school, it is difficult to ask parents for needed classroom materials. In the years past, I have utilized our classroom budget and supplement it with my own income in order to provide materials for my students.
With you help at the end of this school year, I am hoping to have a good foundation of resources for next year. I am always playing catch up and getting materials almost as a response to a need. If I could start with some important resources for everyday learning, this would not only support my instruction, it will allow for students to be better set up for success with the proper materials.
