My Project

This year, I'm teaching Kindergarten in a Title 1 school in Harlem, NY. The students I work with need a lot of support. They need reading resources to develop sequencing skills. They need to learn independence by learning how to tie their shoes. Also, they need to learn to deal with their emotions when they miss their parents or dealing with conflicts with their friends and within themselves. The SEL things will help them calm down or if they just need time to themselves. The wobble seats will help the active students to move around but still focusing on learning. These resources will help me to teach Reading skills and motor skills while helping them to deal with their emotions throughout the day!!
