Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We are a tittle one school, our students get free or reduce lunch. We need a lot of material in order to create neater lessons. After COVID students are learning to be engaged in the classroom to work with groups. They are still adapting to being in person amnd engaged rather than through a computer. I really want them to be able to work hands on activities as well, not just in their iPads. I have several different things that will help to convert my lessons with more engagement. For example the cards will help with my small groups during reading. Students will be able to use comprehension cards to guide them. The markers will also help to write on students desk when explaining something. The books are for students to have access to books that are actually interesting and that they might relate to. I want to encourage my students to read and this will be of great help. The laminator and the laminating sheets are to create different flashcards to use as resources for my lessons. Another thing that I have is the fidgets this will help my students with needs of a fidget to concentrate in class. Then I also added a dest that can be moved around. This is going to be of much help with my small groups. I can move around with the laptop and teach from different areas in the classroom.
