Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are excited about continuing their Pre-kindergarten year! They are special needs children, who love exploring and learning new things.

My students all qualify for free breakfast and lunch.

I transferred to a new school district and class recently and my new students have warmly welcomed me. I've noticed that each child seems determined to do their best, despite any hardships they are facing. I'm proud of my new students with their positive attitudes, and I look forward to making the rest of this school year a successful one.

My Project

The Alphabet Locks, Positional Words Resource Box, and the Count with Me Talking Cookie Jar will continue to enhance the hands-on, student focused classroom that I strive to create. My classroom learning labs are places that my students really enjoy. Having these additional materials there will greatly improve their learning! Every student resource that is placed in my centers is treated with love and care, and they are thankful for the opportunities to practice what they have learned.

All of these materials have been chosen with my students in mind.

I have watched them the past few weeks of school enjoy other center items, and I have also asked them what type of learning lab items they would enjoy working with. Students will be able to choose center materials, which will help them continue to enjoy independent reading and math practice.
