My Project
I am a science teacher in a low-income and high-poverty school where 100% of my students receive free lunch. Many of my children are faced with many challenges in their daily lives. Despite the obstacles they may face, they are eager to learn and look forward to engaging and meaningful learning experiences.
Collaboration, critical thinking, problem-solving, and discovery are key to their success in and out of school.
My goal is to provide my students with positive educational opportunities that will enhance their potential and academic growth while working in the classroom as well as from home.
My classes are full of engaged students who want to excel. By the end of the year, I would like for my students to love learning and to have a successful academic year. My biggest challenge is having the resources to achieve this task.
Teachers Pay Teachers is an amazing resource to provide digital activities that can be accessed from home and in school. I would like to provide my students with science learning games, online projects, math and science escape room games, digital math scavenger hunts, and online STEM kits.
These Teacher Pay Teachers resources will allow me to share activities that students can utilize over the summer to help them retain the knowledge for this year and to prepare them for the upcoming school year.
