My Students
Our rural elementary school in upstate New York has a student population of 350 students. Our students are at risk of failing the New York State Assessments and students who are having difficulty academically are recommended to receive Academic Intervention Services. That's where my room comes into play.
My students are hardworking and imaginative young learners.
They strive every day to improve all areas of their literacy deficiencies. My students are all very eager to learn and love coming to school. They are independent, hardworking, and compassionate.
My Project
I am a 6 year veteran reading teacher who is now placed in 2nd grade during this unprecedented time. I have no materials for these 2nd graders and I have been providing activities from scratch!
My students will benefit from digital resources by engaging in hands on and virtual learning resources !
I hope to give students materials such as sight word activities, math flash cards, individual print outs, binder posters and more. These will help students have their own individual materials that are engaging and helpful! Please consider gifting these gift cards for my 2nd grade students this year. Thank you!
