Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are immigrants from several different countries and need resources to help them learn English. They are excited learners and work hard everyday. I love to reward them for their hard work and will use the pencil and sticker incentives to encourage them to continue working hard towards their learning goals.

Research shows that diverse, inclusive, and representative children's literature help young readers see themselves, different lives and cultures, and the world around them in the stories they read.

Coming to a new school and not knowing the language is tough but they come and do their best to learn. I will be able to print additional resources to use in class as well as to send home with the ink and paper in this project. Thank you for supporting my English language learners!
