My Project
This project involves supplies to help the students of my rural community become better communicators. As a result of increased technology use by parents and children, our students are not being encouraged to build vocabulary skills at younger ages. They are not being exposed to vocabulary or taught ways to communicate verbally. Verbal communication skills are so important. These supplies, especially the books, will allow us to explore vocabulary and life outside of our community. We will complete writing activities and creative arts activities to go with the stories. With these supplies, carryover to the home will be implemented by sharing with parents and caregivers.
