My students need supplies such as laminator, laminating pouches hooks, paper, organizers, and markers to keep the classroom organized to fully utilize all instructional time.
My school is an elementary school in an urban area where we are committed to academic and social success. Almost all of my students are from families of low socio-economic status. This can be challenging when the students are unable to bring basic school supplies to get started at the beginning of the school year.
My students are empowered to achieve life-long goals and become positive leaders in our world.
We strive to celebrate successes both big and small. We have positive supports built into our day to build relationships with our kids.
My Project
I've had my eye on the resources I am requesting for my students for a long time! These are the final necessities needed to efficiently run my classroom. The 10 drawer cart will hold supplies like glue, scissors, markers, and colored pencils. The three drawer desktop unit will be used for storing various colors of construction paper. The storage baskets will be where students turn in their work for each subject. The hanging file folders will allow me to quickly locate student data so I can be aware of the diverse needs of my students. Colored paper, card stock, and the laminator and laminating pouches will be used to create my own specific instructional resources to help all students be successful.
By donating to our project, you will not only help me meet the needs of my students, it will also help me build positive relationships with them.
The cinema light up box will be used to celebrate and encourage students from the moment they enter the classroom. Kids will be building their character and responsibility with the class jobs set. I truly need your support to show my students that the classroom is our home. Thanks!
