Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have a great class! I have parents who are willing to help them at home when needed. My first-grade students come from low-income families. All students receive free breakfast and lunch. For many of my students English is not their first language. I use many pictures to introduce and explain new vocabulary.
My classroom is also a technology-enriched environment with students who are eager to learn.
They are always excited to learn and I couldn't have asked for a better class!
My Project
This Teachers Pay Teachers gift card will allow me to purchase many types of materials. I will be able to buy activities that are engaging for students while they are learning from home. I will also be able to use these activities for my in-person students. Students have been learning from home for a long time and they love to work on fun educational material.
This gift card will allow me to make learning even more exciting.
My in-person students are so excited to be back that I would love to use some of the amazing work other teachers have created in my classroom.
