This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
This year I am teaching technology! While I'm teaching an array of grades, most of the classes are from PK-5th Grade. The majority of the school students are Hispanic/Latino, and many of them speak Spanish when they are at home.
This year, most of our students are joining classes remotely from their houses to stay safe through this epidemic.
Our students are economically disadvantaged and therefore are receiving both breakfast and lunch in school.
My Project
For this project, I am asking for a Teacher Pay Teachers Gift Card. I would use this card to access some wonderful Technology Lessons which have been created explicitly for our young learners.
As a Technology Teacher, it is challenging to find a set of lessons that are suited for our students and we are often left to spend countless hours designing lessons that are suitable for their age brackets.
Teachers Pay Teachers have added a PLETHORA of new technology lessons in the past few months, which would be perfect for my students in various grades.
During the pandemic, our youngest learners have made HUGE advancements with their digital skills and I would like nothing more than to keep that momentum going when we return in the fall. Having access to already created lessons where I can adapt to my student's needs will be extremely helpful in meeting that goal!
