This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Hello,

I am a special education teacher to 15 amazing severe special needs students!

My students are some of the most genuine and caring students I have ever had. Each of my student is categorized with a certain disability that is severe enough that they are in my classroom all day except for their electives. They are all very eager to learn and participate in class! They come in each day with smiling faces and open arms ready for a new day of learning.

In my class, I like to push my students and challenge them to be the best they can be and they rise to the challenge every time! I like to teach my students topics that open their minds to new ideas or way of doing things and shows them there is a world beyond our classroom.

My Project

We have limited space in our classroom for supplies and resources. This cart will be a place that all of the anchor charts made in class can be kept in one place and accessible to all students at all times and can be moved around the room as needed. Right now many of our anchor charts get misplaced or put away and forgotten about because we just do not have a designated space for them all to be kept and stored. With this cart everything will have a home and be kept safe and accessible at all times.
