My Project

My classes are made up of 7th and 8th grade students. I service all types of students in my AVID and Crafts classes. My school is promoting safety by requiring all students to wear their IDs all day long. Many students do not like wearing them so I thought that DIY, personalized lanyards might help with that. Beaded lanyards are quite simple to make so I wanted to add some challenge by having them experiment with adding acrylic pieces to their lanyards as well. I think if students make creative lanyards they like and are proud of, they will more likely wear their IDs. I'm hoping we can even make them for fundraisers to help our classes raise money.
