This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These materials and supplies will aid my 12th-grade English students in fulfilling their Senior Capstone Project. Students will research a social cause they are passionate about, curating a research question and thesis along the way. Students will ultimately compose a 12-15 page research paper and an arts-integrated physical project that reflects the deep research they have done. The requested supplies will allow students to catalogue and organize their research, and provide a space for them to compile all of the work they do.
My students are incredible artists, actors, writers, singers, dancers, musicians, performers, and- most importantly- humans.
Our mission as a class is to promote social justice through the arts.
