My Project

My students love to complete STEM projects and challenges. I always incorporate books and research materials to support their learning. Currently, 2nd grade is planning to create Hibernation Stations using recycled materials.These books will help them read and learn about animal homes and hibernation.

I hope these books will also inspire conversation about materials, structure and protection for animals, leading to amazing student made creations!

My students will be able to read with a partner and discuss the different ways animals hibernate. Then they will be able to construct a Hibernation Station together. I look forward to their creations!
