This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our class is filled with mathematicians, scientist, inventors, and creative thinkers wanting to discover, explore, and research the world around them.

My school is a melting pot of nations filled with students from over 6 nations.

My students are very curious and eager learners, always wanting to know more. Always asking "Why" and "Can we do more?". They truly enjoy learning and are always asking for extra projects to do, but our school has very limited resources to help create their projects. We a high poverty school, but we receive limited funding for extra materials.

My Project

Our classroom is an inquiry based learning environment. My students are always testing hypothesis and researching to find clues or answers to their questions. With a classroom mini iPad tablet, my students won't have to wait a week until they go to the computer lab, they'll instantly be able to look up or search for the desired information.

We live in a technology centered world, but my students don't have access to it.

With more technology in the classroom, my students will be better prepared for higher grade levels, college, and careers involving technology.
