This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
My students are little seedlings ready to be watered. I have the opportunity to work with some of the brightest young minds in the world. I strive daily to become the best teacher that I can be and expose them to as much as I can while I can. Our school is located in the rural Mississippi Delta. We are a Title I school where one hundred percent of our students receive free lunches.
In this project, we are requesting items to help build a research center for our students.
The items being requested in this project are a desk, a chair, and a desk organizer. The students will have access to these items when they use the research center to work on research assignments and projects.
We want to introduce new, fun, and exciting ways for students to explore topics. Having access to a desk, chair, and organizer will make access to the computer and printer requested in another project easier and can help with assignments and projects.
Thank you for taking the time to view our project. We hope it inspires you to donate and help make this project a reality.
