My Project

Building on the success of our previous book drives, Our high school is launching our third student-driven library initiative. Our past campaigns brought hundreds of new books to our shelves, directly selected through student input. Now, we're excited to continue this momentum with our latest book drive aimed at further expanding our collection with titles our students are eager to read.

What makes this drive special is our continued commitment to student voice.

We've gathered book requests directly from our diverse student body, creating a wish list that truly reflects their interests, academic needs, and reading preferences. Students have asked for everything from the latest young adult bestsellers and graphic novels to specialized books supporting their AP courses and college preparation.

Our previous book drives demonstrated the incredible impact of community support. Students are now regularly checking out the books from our last two campaigns, with particularly high interest in our expanded manga collection, contemporary Hawaiian literature, and new STEM resources.

Every donation to this book drive directly supports our students' learning journey and strengthens our school's reading culture. As we've seen from our previous successes, when students have access to books they're excited about, they're more likely to develop strong reading habits that will serve them throughout their lives.
