This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students coomute to a school located in the midst of Skid-Row. Art provides opportunities for our students to articulate their learning in several ways. Students will use what they have been learning about the ocean to create an ocean installation. They will paint murals and create ocean animals out of wire. They will use what they know to create the different ocean zones and ocean animals that belong to the different ocean zones.
The materials on this list will help students create murals and 3D ocean animals.
We will create installations, where students can articulate their thinking and learning.
