My Project

I recently found out that I will be the new assistant golf coach next year for our middle school. Currently, we have no equipment nor the funding to provide what is needed to our students. We are starting from the beginning with new golf clubs with bags, golf balls, training nets, golfing gloves, club cleaning supplies, and tees for ten to fifteen students who've shown a promising desire to learn and excel at a challenging new sport.

We want to train up a new generation of black golfers who will one day rock the golf world!

Our students have been bypassed by the world of golf and are completely underrepresented. Our school wants to change that and give them a hope for a future they have only been able to dream about.

We currently offer football and basketball for students, and have a very small track and field team. Many of our students have been missing out on sports because they prefer to not participate in high-contact sports. We would love to add a new sport that will interest these students and give them more scholarship opportunities in their future. By starting so young with their training, we believe that by graduation many of them could possibly rival Tiger Woods or Rory McIlroy!
