My Students

As a special education teacher teaching students with intellectual disabilities, I work with students daily who are faced with several challenges, both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face, my students are eager to learn both academics and life skills in order to create for themselves a better life.

My students are eager learners that enjoy learning about the world around them and being involved in everyday activities.

My students are students who have been identified with intellectual disabilities and who have been identified as needing self-contained, special education services. They are very eager learners with a zest for life!

My Project

In my Special Education Classroom, my students thrive on using printed manipulatives and hands-on activities. By utilizing these materials, I am able to print activities, laminate them, and use them over and over.

The students in my classroom are eager learners and learn best when hands-on activities are presented in a visual and appealing format.

Having a new laminator, laminating sheets, cardstock, hook and loop dots, and reusable envelopes for storage will be invaluable to our classroom environment. Having these items that are printed in color and laminated allows these materials to be used for years to come!
