Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I'm requesting items that will be used in our Makerspace STEM lab. Adhesives such as tape and hot glue are always needed in Makerspace. Students will often finish a project early so I have included quick pick-and-go centers where students can still show their creativity and keep them busy while others are working on and finishing their projects.
Makerspaces provide hands-on, creative ways to encourage students to design, experiment, build and invent as they deeply engage in science, engineering and tinkering.
All of the materials will be used throughout the year in different projects.
