My Project
In order for my students to practice more science experiments, they need lab supplies and updated equipment. Over the years, a lot of our equipment is old and broken. So they need to be replaced, like hot plates, pipets and the molecule models. I do try to have my students share the equipment that I already have, but I've found out that my students get lost in engagement because they are to busy wait and/or not being able to activity participate because they group is too many students.
My students are very eager when we have lab days because they haven't been exposed to practice lab skills like measuring with graduated cylinders and scales.
So it would be nice to get as many students practicing on different science kits and skills because they could use to skills in their post high school career. This year, my goal is to incorporate more labs through out my curriculum because I see my students more often and they learn better with they are able to experiment and apply the topics they have.
