My Project
Holes by Louis Sachar has become a staple read aloud in my fifth grade classroom. And every year at the end of the school year when students fill out their fifth grade survey of the year, this book is always either ranked first or second out of all the read aloud we do.
Because this book has been read and used for so many years, the wear and tear is starting to show.
My students would greatly benefit form some replacement books, especially those who will be using books that have tapped covers on them. Nothing beats having a real book in your hand while following along, especially one that isn't falling apart!
