This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Help us replace our well-loved books with new hardback copies of Diary of Wimpy Kid, Big Nate, Five Nights at Freddy's and Captain Underpants books. These are the most popular books in our school library. All of our current copies of these books are worn out and tattered because they are so well-loved and frequently checked-out. By replacing these well-loved books, future knights will be able to continue to enjoy these stories. Some of our knights have only ever been inside their school library. Most have never had the opportunity to visit the public library. Therefore, having books without torn pages, broken spines and battered edges would mean a lot to the students and staff.
