Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Our staff is extremely excited to be rolling out the house system developed by the Ron Clark Academy. While we work to sort our students and build excitement in representing their house, we’d love for them to have an immediate item with their house color. The lanyards are already necessary for their student ID badges and will be a quick way to celebrate their sort.

The House System is meant to promote a positive school experience, promote high academic expectations, and cultivate relationships across the school that make every student feel like they belong.

While we continue to build our house system, this lanyard, to jumpstart that feeling of community is a small but vital piece in our bigger movement. Help us help these kids feel like that they belong more than ever!
