My Students

"Organization and education, when they interact with each other, they strengthen each other, they are mutually supportive." - Noam Chomsky

My students are returning to a school year with the hopes of finding some familiarity in structure and organization.

Our students work hard to become independent learners. They are constantly pushing their own academic and social limits. As special educators, it is our responsibility to continue to teach our students to the best of our abilities with the resources in our changed classrooms.

My Project

All of our students have experience a disruption in their routines and structures in the past school year. With the uncertainty of what September brings, we can say with confidence that we will need to work hard to reorganize and restructure our classes to bring back a sense of familiarity. Students with Autism thrive in structured and organized environments, which is why keeping a clutter free space is so important.

Students can gain greater independence and pride in their work when they are able to access the materials they need quickly and easily in the classroom.

With the clear organization bins, students can see its contents and quickly determine which items fit their academic needs.

Our students need continuity within all their learning environments more than ever. With our experience of moving into blended learning environments at the blink of an eye, it is important to provide students with the tools to stay organized and successfully participate in remote lessons is the key to success.
