Renaissance - Reinforcing, Recognizing, and Rewarding Excellence!

Help me give my students rewards and recognitions through our schools Renaissance program to celebrate excellence and all the great things happening on our campus.

My Project

Our school's Renaissance program recognizes and rewards student accomplishments. We recognize and celebrate them through various recognitions such as, student of the month, I Up'd my grades and behavior, Up Yours awards, Birthday Wish cards, Imua awards, AiDoKea- grade improvement awards, Golden Ticket awards, attendance awards, Kealii Pride Gotchas, and 4.0 Club awards. Students receive monthly decorated envelopes with their nominations, along with receiving tickets for treats and snacks.

We want to continue to offer and provide our students with rewards and reward day events to celebrate their positive accomplishments and perseverance.

The Covid-19 pandemic and Lahaina wildfires have challenged our school and community resources, and has taken a great emotional toll on our students and their families. These recognitions and simple rewards can help motivate our students, along with building a more positive school climate.

Our LIS students and westside community are the best. We are as resilient, strong minded, and tight knit as any community in this world. Recovery will take years, but these enormous gestures and donations through DonorsChoose will have everlasting effects at LIS. Thank You!
