Remote Physical Education Outdoors

Help me give my students the ability to take PE class indoors and outdoors in various locations with updated WiFi.

My Students

Nearly all students from low‑income households. My students deserve to be around the best technology to deliver timely lessons without any issues. I teach both regular education PE/Wellness and Life Skills PE classes.

There are a number of needs for each student and providing the best technology will allow me to create content that will reach every student.

My Project

Remote learning has seen Physical Education/Wellness and Fitness adapt and evolve into a new curriculum. My goal has been to give students the means, ideas, examples, and choices of how they want to stay active, while covering vital fitness aspects and standards each class. In order to achieve this, it is pivotal to have technology that works on multiple levels. In order to deliver the best content, I must have the ability to load content that does not lag or load slowly. I teach regular PE classes along with Life Skills PE classes and the ability to teach class outdoors and in various locations would be key to their success!

This donation will allow me to hold classes outdoors and in a more appropriate space, instead of an office or small work space that has a Wifi connection

The current WiFi signal/strength has seen a number of loading and lagging issues, which has deterred my student from paying attention and being engaged. This will have an immediate and direct impact for all of my students during remote learning! The school Wifi is not strong enough to reach outdoors and has a myriad of issues inside the gymnasium!
