Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My school is a K- 8th-grade public school with a very high immigrant population and a Title I school in Illinois where ninety-eight percent of students speak Spanish as their primary language. All of my students qualify for free breakfast and lunch and come from low-income households. The classroom setting is co-teaching general education teacher and special education teacher. including 4th/5thl6th grade students with special needs and English Language Learners. Differentiation is needed on a daily basis to meet their needs in reading, writing, and social-emotional.

My students are individuals with learning disabilities; intellectual and autistic.

Their positive energy and confidence are my inspiration and motivation to continue my career in special education. Our goal is to have our children as comfortable and challenged physically as well as mentally.

My students work very hard very day and I am so proud of them.

My Project

The digital lessons are great for students to help them to find their assignments without clicking through many files.

Yes, at this time our school is closed so all students are remote learning.

Many of the digital programs allow students to interact with the concept along with google classroom compatiblty. Also the teacherpayteacher store has all levels if assessments for reading, math, and social, and scince.

Having many assignments to chose from will enhance students learning. All the lessons have same standards so that teachers have creditable assignments
