My Students

I am a middle school paraprofessional In a special needs classroom for middle school age boys and girls. All of the students have individual learning plans and some requires 1:1 assistance. Every student in our class is unique. The room is full of so many sweet personalities and caring hearts.

My Project

My team is trying to stay connected to our students via video calling and text messages etc during this Covid-19 outbreak to give our support with schoolwork. Unfortunately, none of our students have electronic devices to be reached on. Local WiFi companies have offered free and/or discounted services for families but not every one has a device to use the service to complete school work. It is very hard for students to complete assignments beings though majority of the assignments are posted onto “Google Classroom” which is a online based program.
