This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The students in my class live in a diverse city: The Big Apple, New York City! They come from many different cultures and backgrounds and are encouraged and expected to work together collaboratively.

My students are experiencing a time where the schools are closed and they need to learn from home.

My students need me to teach using modern technology.

My students are at a critical turning point, growing from child to adult, and keeping them engaged is an ongoing challenge.

My Project

I will be able to effectively teach my students the same way I did in the classroom. I need to have virtual lessons and meetings. I need modern ways to keep them engaged and passionate in learning . My students are self motivated and I need to be able to challenge them and provide opportunities to push their thinking.

I can share presentations, create lessons and work collaboratively with my classes all while keeping them safe in their homes.

I need to be the professional example and provide the best education possible. With this computer, I can design and execute powerful lessons during this uncertain time.
