This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students all come from low economic area but that shouldn't be a reason from showing them all the possibilities the world has to offer. My second-grade students are eager for knowledge and filled with curiosity and desire to learn. They are ready to make things happen with dragging, swiping, and clicking. For the third year in a row my 2nd graders have been given the opportunity to use iPads in the classroom and at home. Thus, they have shown an eagerness that has sparked their imagination and eagerness that has enhanced different styles of learning. My students consist of English language learners, gifted & talented, & special needs. Educational technology has opened a pathway into learning that nurtures their creativity and helps promote high order thinking and problem-solving skills. The possibilities are endless!

My Project

As schools around the world respond to COVID-19, the need for remote learning tools has never been more urgent. To make the transition to distance learning easier and online lessons need to have more clearly written-out themes and directions for students this device would allow me to do that for my students.

The use of technology in the classroom has nurtured my students creativity and allowed them to be innovative learners.

Let me continue to do that during this pandemic. A MacBook would help elevate our virtual experience through collaboration and the ability to manage more efficiently.

The power of technology in teaching and learning can bridge gaps.

This device would allow the ability to launch Apps, textbooks, and educational websites on students' devices at home on our learning platform. It would provide online learning opportunities that can be disseminated with ease and functionality.
