This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students live in an inner-city struggling through issues of language barriers, crime, violence, and poverty, but despite it all, they foster and maintain a high level of hope and pride in their city.
The culture of the community is highly creative and expressive in many aspects of the arts, from visual arts to theater, from music to dance.
The people and students here support and embrace the creative arts unlike many wealthier areas, and the people shine very brightly because of it.
My Project
Your donation will help my Visual Arts students receive a higher quality remote-learning experience with the purchase of a variety of technology tools. The teacher will use the Mac and IPad to create and edit Visual Art How-To training videos for my students.
My remote visual arts classroom will be greatly enhanced with these technology tools.
The Mac and IPad will be paired together when teaching so the students can see the teacher and the drawing table. The IPad will be mounted onto the Tripod above the drawing table. The lights and headphones will help illuminate the drawing area for the students, and the wireless headphones will help the teacher stay in communication with students through the built in microphone.
