Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are the most enthusiastic learners! Every single day they come in excited about learning something new and sharing their day with their families. Learning new words, reading a story, discovering how to solve a math problem, or learning about the life cycle of a frog are all equally exciting to them!

Their excitement for learning is contagious and makes every single day so joyful.

They encourage each other in their learning and share their new ideas with each other. They make our classroom family fun, exciting, and loving as we learn and share together.

My Project

I am asking for three Chromebooks so that my scholars with no access to technology can participate at home with our new remote learning system. Because of COVID-19, we had to move most of our learning to the computer. I have scholars without access to technology, who will benefit greatly from being able to use these computers to access our lessons at home. This will allow them to Zoom with our class for morning meetings and lessons, watch our lesson videos, complete online assignments, and engage in educational activities. When we return in the fall, these can be used for scholars to engage in online learning and experiences in the classroom as well.
