I have a special student who wants to continue learning even at home during this distance learning time. She really likes to play with sensory toys as well as playing with puzzles. She is a caring and loving child who really needs your help at this time.
Due to her disabilities, my student faces many obstacles daily, including communication, daily life skills, understanding the world around her, and dealing with why things change.

My Project
I have a nonverbal student with Autism in my pre k classroom. She is a severely sensory driven child who loves to use sensory materials to explore. She gravitates towards the sensory center as well as the puzzle center when we are in school. She loves putting puzzles together and she loves to work with sensory materials.
These sensory materials and puzzle increase my student's ability to learn and experience new language.
My student needs hands-on learning in order to absorb and retain new information. She is having a difficult time at home due to the lack of resources.
Please help us get her the resources she needs so she can continue to be successful in her learning.
