This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I love it when I am working with students and that magic moment happens, especially in an ICT classroom. That moment when a student who has never smiled, smiles. That moment when a student has that lightbulb moment and finally understands a learning point. Teaching is magical.
As a special education teacher, my greatest ability is to have a positive impact upon lives.
It’s why I do what I do. I want to make a difference, not just to the students in my classroom but in every classroom.
As life long learners, I want to be able to provide them with the proper tools to become college and career ready.
My Project
My remote students are ready, excited and eager to learn.
I hope to give my students the best chance to be successful while they learn remotely at home.
I hope to provide them with the best resources in Google Classroom to allow them to be themselves and thrive as students!
The Teachers Pay Teacher gift card will give me access to several materials my students can use for remote learning. My students will gain access to social-emotional learning supports, additional reading and math activities as well as science and social studies material.
With these new resources, my students will be able to access a wide range of supports while learning remotely from home.
