Remote Learning in Sixth Grade

Help me give my students materials for distance learning including art supplies, erasers and snacks. I also need a laptop stand and caddies.

My Students

Our school is a wonderful and amazing place to be! The students enter school every day, eager and ready to learn. They have a wonderful and natural curiosity about the world. The students are all unique learners, but each one has many special gifts to offer to the world. The students come from diverse backgrounds with a variety of languages and cultures. What makes us special is our strong sense of community.

We work together to create a classroom culture that fosters creativity, hard work, acceptance, and celebrations of both successes and failures as an important part of learning.

Each day, I am fascinated by my students' drive and the ways they continually find to support each other! They work and learn through play and conversation, as well as through their written work.

My Project

This project is for materials to enhance the learning in our fully remote class this year. This includes a request for chalk, storage, snacks, a laptop stand, and erasers.

Students love doing art projects, and we complete one each week!

The chalk will be used for a Northern Lights art project completed this winter. The laptop stand enables me to use two monitors while teaching and share the screen with a document camera while still being able to see my students' faces. The gummy bears will be given out to students at the materials pick up. The erasers are for their dry erase boards. The storage caddies will help me keep materials organized as I prepare them for student distribution. These materials will all help me to make sure my students are motivated to learn and staying engaged from home. Thank you for your consideration of this project.
