Remote Learning Essential Toolkit

My Students

My students are amazing! They are English language learners with varied English proficiency levels. Many have emigrated to the United States within the past year or two, and I have had the pleasure of watching them grow and acquire more and more listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in English over the course of the past seven months.

My favorite thing is watching my students' eyes light up as they make new discoveries, whether those discoveries be through text, videos, or actual hands-on experiences.

My Project

Our district just voted for full remote learning so having a backpack full of essential supplies will be a huge support for at-home learning! I want all of my students to be able to have the same materials and opportunities for learning and discovery while we are working remotely.

These backpacks full of essential tools will help my ESL students be active participants in our remote classroom.

Soft number dice and flash cards will allow students to enjoy playing math games at home. Having basic supplies at home such as scissors, pencils, notebooks, and glue sticks will allow my students to fully participate in remote learning activities.
